Reading about Science: Ecosystems

Today we found great books to read!

7th graders Melody and Kevin enjoy looking for interesting facts in their non-fiction ARC books.

We have started a unit about ecosystems. 
We have new ARC books to read .
Each student has chosen their own ecosystem to research.  
Each student will be designing his or her own blog page that will contain a lot of information and include drawings and photos of their ecosystem.

Quarter 2 Honor Ceremonies

On February 14 & 15, students at Leman Middle School were honored for excellent grades.

El 14 y 15 de febrero, los estudiantes en LMS recibieron honores por sus calificaciones buenas.

The highest distinction is the DISTINGUISHED certificate. These students have all As. For the Orange Team, two students earned this top honor.
El honor mas alto es lo de DISTINGUIDO.  Estos estudiantes recibieron calificaciones de nada mas que las As. Del equipo Orange, dos estudiantes ganaron este certificado.

Students also earned HONOR ROLL certificates if they only had A's and B's on their report card.
